1° Did you enjoyed it?
ReplyDeleteYes.
2° Would you be ready to watch it again and to enjoy the clip for its self?
Yes.
3° Do you think that you need to already know one of the two elements of the content (the music or the video) to enjoy the clip?
I think an already established appreciation for either the song or game would make it more enjoyable for the viewer.
4° Did you know any of these elements?
Yes, both.
5° If you didn't know any of these two elements did the clip entice you to go further in the experience of the band, the director or the game?
6° And in the case that you did know one of these, do you feel the desire of going further in the knowledge of their creators thanks by consuming more of their work?
Yes. I believe the combination of these two elements gave each elemnent a new meaning. Rock music is often written with vauge wording, leaving it's meaning open-ended to several interpritations; in this case, its the story within super smash bros. Concordingly, the storyline behind super smash bros was given a new context as the result of the music. They compliment eachother very well.
7° How would you call this work? Derivative work or content deviation (this question
and is aiming all of the clips, it is not necessary to answer for all of them)?
I would categorize this work as well-crafted Fan Fiction, as I assume this was created by a fan of the video game super smash bros.
correction to 6* They enhance eachother, not just compliment.
